ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - A pork processing plant says the second COVID-19 death in Buchanan County is one of their employees.
Triumph Foods and the city of Saint Joseph say the patient was a man in his 40's who tested positive for the coronavirus on April 22. Officials add that he had underlying medical conditions.
Meanwhile, the Missouri Department of Health and Social Services says 412 of the 2,367 Triumph Food workers tested last week have COVID-19.
